Joanne Scullion – Design Support & Client Care
Having moved into 10 different homes in the past 24 years, Joanne has had plenty of opportunity to hone her planning and design skills. With a natural flare for decorating, she has used her passion, her creativity and her love for all things “coastal” to turn blank canvasses into warm & inviting living spaces. Joanne’s easy temperament and desire to help people is a calming influence particularly for those embarking on a custom build project for the first time
Some would say that taking on a custom home build project is not for the faint of heart. And there’s some truth to that. Building your dream home is a very big undertaking that requires a significant amount of research, planning and decision making – not to mention time, money and patience. It can be a real emotional rollercoaster as you navigate uncharted waters for no other reason than a lack of experience
With the right guidance and support, bringing that dream to life can be an incredibly rewarding experience. Quite simply, there’s nothing like putting your personal stamp on the various design elements and then watching them come to life – it’s something that you never get tired of
At Coastal Impressions, our goal is to walk clients through every step of the custom build process – doing so with extreme care and attention to detail. Our model is based largely on what we experienced during both our very first project and subsequent projects. Specifically, “first timers” often need a considerable amount of support and direction throughout the process, while others may want more of a dedicated team because they lack the time to fully devote to a custom build project. In short, we want your custom build to be an enjoyable experience
With 4 personal projects under our belts and one on the way, we’ve got a really good handle on the process and an even better handle on how to properly budget to ensure that those “unforeseen”, “unplanned”, “unanticipated” costs are limited – which is critical to the overall process
Coastal Impressions is committed to making the process an extremely positive experience supporting you in the following areas – guidance during acquisition of the building lot – selecting the right architect – working with city and town planning – securing transparent trade quotes – providing interior design support
